Send them a copy of the confirmation email and ask them to confirm that they did indeed receive your application.

If you have missed out on a school place because they have somehow lost your electronic application, they should deal with it now and you should get whatever place you would have got if they had dealt with your application at the right time. If the LEA will not sort this out for you, you may have to take it to appeal, but as this appears to be an LEA error, it really is up to them to put it right.

However, I wonder whether this is somehow connected with your move of house. Have you moved now? Have you submitted evidence of your new address? It is possible that the problem here is that the LEA could do nothing with your application until they had confirmation that you were living in the area.

I agree with Panelchair, this is almost certainly something to do with moving house.
You need to talk to the admission office on Monday and make clear to them that you have applied and have the written evidence to prove it.
The bottom line is that even if you can prove that you did apply within the specified dates for on-time entry, then it does not guarantee that you will get a place at the school. That is because the LA can correct their error but if you are still not in the top 30, assuming it is a school with an admission number of 30, then you will not get a place.
You can only progress this one step at a time and see what the admission office say on Monday - it could easily be a computer hickup caused by moving address and your application is in the system.

So, did you contact them after you had moved, to provide confirmation that you were actually living at the new address?
