Tudor Costume..what did yours wear?

before I just buy one from ebay ..any easy homemade ideas

Does he like army stuff? Tudor infantrymen wore "kettle" helmets not dissimilar to the ones worn by the British infantry in WWI.

he'd prefer to be a soldier or similar
i feel an ebay purchase coming on
as I'm fresh out of helmets

Ds wore black trousers tucked into football socks, silver paper buckles on his school shoes, a white long sleeved shirt and a black waistcoat he had already. And a black velvet beret of his sister' with a feather sewn on. Looked fab. Easy peasy. Cheap. Well, free actually.

When he did this at school DH's mum sent him as the axe man and his sis as Ann Boleyn! Really.
