We're thinking of moving to Preston Park/ Five Ways - specifically one of the Havelock/ Waldegrave roads etc. House under offer in London and DH desperate to leave. Me less so but we're priced out of where we live in London, we live on a main road in a very urban area, and really need more space for very active boys and also a bit of peace and quiet (!) Love the idea of community and boys going to primary/ secondary schools within walking distance but am worried about moving DS 5.5 who is currently in Y1. Would love some advice on difficulties/ probabilities of getting into Downs/ Balfour - or other local schools in year? And also sense of community in PP. My little one is 3.5 and will be starting primary Sep 14. My older one is also currently starting statementing process for possible ASD (all v. new) so concerned to move him out of his v. good primary here, where he has lots of support. Any thoughts or help really gratefully received. Many thanks.
