irlens syndrome

hi my son has just been diagnosed with dyslexia and suspect he could also have irlens syndrome, i dont know alot about this only that the lensed glasses are very expensive, does any1 know if these are available on the nhs and where do i start. school dont seem to know alot about this either.

As far as I am aware the NHS won't cover Irlens lenses. You could try coloured overlays ...available in all shapes and sizes and also for computer screens. available through Amazon or crossbow education.com. On the latter site you can try out a few of the suggested colours to see if they help but I have been told yellow is good for dyslexics.
