My DS broke up from school last Friday and brought home some homework. He has to fill a takeaway style tub with non perishable objects beginning with "O". I have had a total mind blank all week. He is back on Monday and this blardy box needs filling. HELP, I need some mumsnet inspiration Smile

Octopus, old socks, one eyed pirate !

amistillsexy · 15/02/2013 08:07

Erm...shouldn't it be the child who scours the house for 'o' objects?

RudolphLovesoftplay · 15/02/2013 08:07

Thanks guys Smile

What I am finding is there are very few objects that actually start with O. You have to add a word e.g odd sock, open door etc! Stupid homework, why couldn't we have got S or T or something?!?

Change his name to Oliver and let him wear it?

adeucalione · 15/02/2013 08:18

octagon
oil
leaflet for 'opticians'?

adeucalione · 15/02/2013 08:21

toy owl, otter or orang utan?

MummyDoIt · 15/02/2013 08:21

Could you get away with pictures of things? That would give you a lot more scope, eg oak tree, octopus, plus all the perishables already suggested.
