co-ed prep schools in Surrey - Downsend or Ewell?

Hi, we are currently located in Oslo and will be moving to the UK in a couple of months. We are thinking of settling down somewhere in Surrey - thinking of Epsom at the moment since we have friends there. I have been searching for co-ed prep schools nearby since we have a girl and a boy(5 1/2 and 4 years old) and came up with Downsend and Ewell. We will have to go and feel the "vibe" at some point, but any comment or experience on these schools will be very much appreciated. Alternatively, if you have any other suggestions, that'd be very helpful too. Thanks!

Downsend very good- regularly gets their 13 year old leavers many scholarships etc to senior schools, loads of trips and activities quite strong on sport, nice location and buildings. New head due this year- leaving Head had mixed reviews, not a great success.

I should have said that your kids would start at one of the Downsend Lodges not at the main site- they move at Year 2 to the main site but still use the pool and other facilities while at the Lodge
