Hi- just wanted to query what is usual in terms of free reading books taken home in Yr 3- we have been getting The Spypups / Spydogs series and sometimes ones i find quite violent like the Starpol series, is this usual? I guess they choose them themselves but I'm not that keen on these books.

We get a lot of Beast Quest home at the moment but like you say, DS is choosing them himself. I let him read those himself and read more "classic" things with him to hear him read out loud (for my sanity!).
