What is a 'time opener'?

I am guessing it is 'once upon a time' but can you please give me some more examples. I have asked DD (6) and she cannot remember what they are, so I want to go through some more examples, but I don't really know [thick emoticon].

Her task is to write about her school day with time openers, wow statements and correct punctuation - I can do the WOW and the punctuation with her...

Perhaps it means starting a sentence with words like 'first, next, later, after that, finally' ?
Not completely sure though!!

thank you. I had hoped she would be paying attention in class, but it appears not, and they have given the parents no guidance. I guess, they presume we know. I am not really finding anything on t'internet to explain it in full, but that makes sense.

Does she mean "time connectives"? DS is in YR2 and they have been working hard on these in Literacy. It's all the "next, eventually, finally, at long last, firstly" kind of things - they were using them when learning about writing instructions, and are now applying them to creative writing.

When, After that, Later, Next, Finally, Once, Soon ...

manky this must be it then, as she is in y2.

So, DD wants to write this:

'After break I did fun maths, then I had a tasty lunch, next I had fantastic PE.'

Is that correct?
