I would love to hear any views on the above two schools please?

Especially on the entrance tests to Year 3. We have made a decision to relocate and our son is currently at a state school so I am worried maybe a bit unprepared for the various tests. Hoping his charm and enthusiasm will stand him in good stead!

My friend's DC go to Pilgrims and I know she really likes it though is a bit concerned that they are increasing the class sizes (were 15 in her DD's year, 2 years later they are 20). I didn't think they took children in Year 3 though? (I know they aren't even running a year 3 this year).

Hi

How old is your son? Have you thought of home tutoring for a year to get him up to scratch? I know of someone who did this with their son and his friend who then passed to go to the Harpur Trust boy's Schools - one went to Bedford School and one went to BMS! I know they had a brilliant year and went into the private system far more confident and any difficulties they had were sorted out. They are now at university so it worked for them! Might be worth thinking about!!
