DS1 brings home 3 reading books from school per week, he has just finished the green read, write inc set and has really enjoyed them. Today he has come home with a tedious ginn 360 book, level 2.

He has only been given one for the holidays so i was wondering if anyone can recommend a slightly more stimulating set of books around the same level we can read over the break!

I have the songbirds books, which colour songbirds equate to the same level as ds is on? we have only done the first set so far. im going to have a trip to the library tomorrow and have a look on ebay if i can get some recommendations.

Thank you in advance for any help.

simpson always recommends www.oxfordowl.co.uk
I've never used it myself but I hear good things about it.
