I'm on our school PTA and the school has asked that we look into replacing the curtains in some of the classrooms. The curtains are very tatty and are definitely long past their best. We are a very small village school so often PTA volunteers end up sourcing items requested by the school as the staff don't have time.
Has anyone recently bought school curtains? Can I just ask someone local who is handy with a sewing machine to make some or do they have to meet certain Health and Safety requirements, be fire retardent etc? Any help gratefully received!
