Hi is anyone else concerned by the proposals to introduce the tiered feeder school proposal for Reigate Priory Junior School?
I've dug a bit deeper and asked the council for data and despite their claims 'that other local children shouldn't be disadvantaged' it simply isn't true.
Also using the Parish as a feeder school raises issues over indirect religious discrimination which is in breach of the School Admissions Code and the Equality School 2010.
There are also questions over socio-economic discrimination and again I have evidence to back this up.
Is anyone else worried that they are proposing to effectively make the Priory a state funded prep school reserved for children living in the more affluent parts of the town?
