No, sorry. I went to school nearby back in the Stone Age, (Puncheston.) But there's not much I can tell you about the modern era. Lovely area though. You'll love it.

Hi beingmum - I'm about 15 mins away from Fishguard, so I know a few people with children in school there. Are you looking for Welsh medium or english medium schooling?

I have friends with dc in Goodwick school (Welsh med) who are extremely happy there, similarly Croesgoch (english/welsh). I know a few people with dc at Holy Name school - on the whole happy but some reservations as to how the HT dealt with problems (injury in one case, death of a parent in the other).

Llanychllwydog in the Gwaun valley & bro Ingli in Newport are both Welsh medium. The former is very small - I know dc who've been very happy there and others who've not got along so well, tbh it depends largely on the no. of children in their age range and whether they happen to get along with them. Bro Ingli has a new HT who seems very good but has only been there since Sept.

If you have any questions about particular schools let me know and I can ask around!
