I have always had a good feeling about dgs primary school ,a small CoE country school [80ish pupils 3-11],but today I had my feelings confirmed.
I arrived early to collect dgs2 from nursery at 1pm so watched the others playing.
No one was alone, all age groups playing together, dinner ladies laughing and talking to children-checking hats and coats etc.
There is one girl in a wheelchair and she had constant companions and at one point while she was watching football I saw a Y6 boy tuck his fleece over her knees.
I was watching from the car and it was so good to see dgs1 running and playing with boys and girls-such a happy scene.
Not sure why I am posting but I thought it was worth sharing a positive experience.
