DD (5.6, in yr1) has nicked taken an interest in my puzzle magazine that arrived today... obviously way over her head, but she says she would really like her own magazine of puzzles to do.

Any ideas please? :)

Wordsearches are good for that age, of you have a 'the works' shop locally they do lots of suitable puzzle books or if you can print a website like activity village has many different worksheets

you could try "Bond Non-verbal Reasoning Assessment Papers 6-7 years", don't know if they have one for 5-6 years (have a look on Amazon, you can see inside the book)

Ooh thanks. DD has recently had that 'click' moment with reading and is loving it now so word searches would be great if I can find simple ones. And I do have 'the works' in town so I will try there too.

Aaaah reasoning papers - I used to sneak into my mum's room as a kid to dig out her old ones and do them in secret Blush
