Website similar to Maths Factor for English comprehension?

My DD(6) has had much success using the Maths Factor the last few months ( up 4 sublevels in a term ), and I would dearly love to find a similar web programme for my DS(9, Y4) to improve his comprehension.

He detests reading fiction and any reading or comprehension type activities that I try at home are met with great resistance. He sees DD doing the Maths Factor each day, however, and keeps asking for a similar literacy/comprehension programme.

I can't find anything online apart from the usual dry worksheets and Bond books. The BBC bite size website is OK but a bit too disjointed.

Does anyone know if anything like Maths Factor exists for comprehension?

Hi, have you seen Reading Eggs?

Thanks I looked but its for younger children and about decoding rather than comprehension. DSs decoding is excellent, he needs help with inference and more complex comprehension, KS2 stuff.

We have a subscription for reading eggs and while the 'Reading eggs' part, does what you describe, the other section of the subscription 'Reading Eggpress' is designed for KS2 7+. I haven't used it yet but it is advertised as a continuation of reading and comprehension, so it may be worth taking a second look at Reading Eggpress.
