Moving to Marlow from overseas

Hello everyone, hope you can help me. I am an Italian mum planning to move to Marlow sometime in 2013. I have a daughter who will turn 5 next April, she is currently attending her reception year in Italy where we live. I would ver much like for her to be accepted at the Spienfield School but obviously I cannot apply or a place until we have an address in Bucks which might be just when she will need to start school. My question is, if I find a place in the catchment era for that school, will my daughter by accepted though if I have to apply for an in-year admission? Thanks everyone for your help and advice!

It depends on if they have a place free for her. If it's a popular school then the chances are not good unfortunately....

You should phone the school if you have not already. They will have best idea.

I believe school places are allocated by the Local Authority in Bucks, so they would be your first port of call.

Afaik Spinfield is always very oversubscribed. This gives you details of allocations for the Sept 2012 intake.
