Hello, Our family is moving to Southgate, N14 London end of January. I'm feeling lost...Could you advise schools with good reputation? Ofsted reports can be very misleading as inspectors have own preferences.
Any opinions about Osidge primary school,
Walker Primary
St.Andrew's (CE) ,
West Grove Primary???
I heard Monkfrith is really good.
Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.

Are you looking for a reception place? Some of those primaries are very popular and over subscribed. I think you have to live very near for Walker. St Andrews I think select on faith and I've heard good things about Osidge. I have no direct experience as I'm not local any more (info might be a bit out of date).

One thing you need to.be aware of is some of those schools are Barnet and some are Enfield which might complicate applications.

Thanks. No, I'm looking for yr2 in year place for my daughter. Our new place is just around the corner, v close to Osidge. They have good Ofstead reports.
Is it true foundation( and Osidge is) schools are mainly focused on children with learning difficulties? read it somewhere on internet.
Do you know anything about Monkfrith? ta
