Wetherby v The Hall v Arnold House

We are a bilingual family based in Hampstead, with a newborn son. We are interested in hearing your opinions about the above three schools. Is the Wetherby a much better school than the other two and hence worth considering, despite having The Hall and Arnold House in the neighbourhood? (We are on the waiting list for Wetherby and The Hall). How would you rank the three? Thanks very much in advance!

All good schools and feeders to the top secondary schools. Wetherby Pre-prep (up to age 8) is further from Hampstead so this should be taken into consideration.

Academically, I'd sat The Hall and Arnold House are better. The distinction between the two is that The Hall is more of a hothouse. If your son is not super bright, there is more pressure to catch up as they segregate the top kids into special classes to get them ready for the "Challenge" at 13+. Arnold House is also academic but not as pressurized and more nurturing.

Very helpful as I have ds down for Arnold.

Tennismom - what are your thoughts on Hill House (if any? Sorry for the hijack).

Thanks so much, Tennismom! Any views on whether it is better for the child to go from nursery to per-prep until 13 and then onto senior, or choose s school that takes them from 3 to 18? In that regard, any views on Highgate v UCS v St Paul's v Westminister? Again, how would you rank them?
Sh77 - no problem! I am alsointerested in HH
