Hi,
Where does Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby fits in the scheme of reading levels?
DD reads all different books she picks from the box that have no stickers on them, she is free to choose.
Last Friday she brought home book with dark blue sticker on/Sapphire level and she also tells me there is a Ruby level and Emerald level too Confused
How does this relate to ORT?
I had a look on ORT overview chart, moreConfused

The KS2 book bands are split into brown, grey, dark red and dark blue and each one roughly corresponds with a year ( yr 3-6) However some schemes split these down further so one "colour band" could cover several scheme bands. Your books sound like Big Cat books which goes copper, topaz, ruby, emerald, sapphire, diamond, pearl after the normal lilac to lime bands
