Spelling and Grammar in DD's Year Two homework

My dd (6) brought home a sheet of "talking" homework on Friday. This is what it said, word for word:

"You are a fly on the wall. Who's wall (it can be real or fictional characters wall and why? What can you see and hear?"

Am I just being a grammar pedant to be horrified at its composition?

I want to correct it and send it back to school - should I? Or should I give the teacher a break?!

Yes, it's terrible. The sentence partly enclosed in brackets doesn't even make sense. Rewrite it and do the exercise with your daughter. I don't think there's a need to go into a great panic about it. But if the teacher who wrote this makes a habit of teaching incorrectly like this then I'd bring the subject up with the school. In this instance she might have been in a rush and simply forgot to check her work.
