I really like the look of the phonics charts on the www.thrass.co.uk website, the picture ones where they link the similar sounds (s-51 I think).
Which sort of chart do you think work best for encouraging children to write? How do I get ds to just 'have a go' with spellings rather than asking me to write the word.
