SATS in Year 6

Does anyone know if they all sit the same SATS paper for maths? Ie is it aimed at level 3-5 or are these levels done in separate papers as used to be the case in GCSE papers which were foundation and higher tier?

They all have to sit a level 3-5 (if they are working at level 3 or above).

A few children may also sit a level 6 test if they are working at a level 6 in the classroom. But they would have to do both, and be awarded a 5 in the first paper before they were 'allowed' to be awarded the 6.
