Hi I am thinking about moving and have set up visits to 5 schools in the town where we are thinking about going. My DD is in year 3.

I looked at about as many schools before she started reception. BUt I wonder if anyone has any tips, if we should have specific questions, or just see how a school feels when we get there? I've done the Ofsted research and also asked various mums here and ones I know in the town already. Of the 5 schools, 3 have good Ofsted and the other 2 have more than one good recommendation from mums.

thanks for any advice.

I'm a firm believer in going with your gut - what suits one child won't necessarily suit another. As long as the school is welcoming and the kids are engaged in what they are doing I would be happy.
