What questions to ask when looking at primary schools?

DD1 due to start reception next year so we are about to go round the local primary schools to make a decision as to our preference.

What questions should we ask while we are looking round?

I might move this to "chat" for a bit more traffic...

just for interest - ask the teachers if they enjoy working there

and they ask stuff about HW, car parking is always a bit of a hot potato. Mostly you need to get a "feel" of the place and whether you like that feel or not
