Reading age - idle question

I've never given any thought to this until recently.

DS1 is a very able reader and a relative who's a retired teacher has asked, more than once, what his reading age is.

Then I was at a friend's for coffee and another mother said her (I think) 10 yo had a reading age of 16.

I've googled it but what I found only went up to 14 point something.

Just curious I suppose, does it mean anything? If it's still used where is the best place to find info please?

Not sure I've ever seen one that measures beyond 14 either, actually. But remember that there are different tests assessing different skills, such as ability to decode words as opposed to comprehension.
NFER do a range of assessments. Google them.
