what happens in Y3...This is the start of KS1. Just wondering what your child did and how different it is to Y1/2

At dd's school, main changes between KS1 & 2 are:
no longer afternoon play/fruit break
more independence expected - taking responsibility for doing home learning for e.g
split according to ability for maths so may not end up with their usual class teacher for that subject
PE more games orientated/less music & movementy , more done outside pretty much in all weathers
Targets to work towards set
