Jolly Phonics Teachers HELP!!

Vicky08 · 04/09/2012 15:50

I'm teaching year one this year for the first time and I'm currently doing my long term classroom planning. I'm having trouble fitting Jolly Phonics into it. I know how to teach it, it's just that I don't know how I'm going to be able to fully teach all of the skills with it.

My post probably doesn't make much sense, I can't really explain very well what the problem is.

If anyone can give me some pointers I'd really appreciate it.

TIA

I would start by checking what the children already know as I would expect Y1 to have completed Jolly Phonics and to be moving onto the next stage.
