Hi to all chiswick mums hope the holidays are treating you well!
Planning to move from Teddington to Chiswick in the very near future and wanted to find out which schools are best? Aiming for Belmont but wanted to how far the catchment or proximity was - any help would be great!

Am in the area but no direct experience. I remember the catchment area for Belmont being on the council website and understand that not even everyone in catchment gets a place. Sibling priority only works if families are still living in catchment, though. Other Chiswick schools are generally well regarded, eg St Mary's if Catholic. The West London Free School is opening a primary in 2013 if you are likely to be more in the Hammersmith area; a place there will guarantee one for the secondary school.

Changes year on year! We got in last year and live 600 mts away, someone down the road has not managed to get in for two years. Def wouldn't put all my eggs in that basket! And you don't have to, I've heard good things about the other schools too, none are bad. People seem to get quite hysterical about it, which I think is slightly unwarranted!
