She is tall, slim, and 13 1/2H, just coming up to 4 1/2! Looking for a lovely new school shoe ideally t bar with good support. Start rite seem our only option but what poor variety !

I love these

Have got some for my 4 and 5 year old dds. They don't do width fittings, but they have found them a great fit. They had these ones last year and they lasted all school year pretty much.

She's 4 and a half years old and a size 13.5???? Blimey!

Super model in the making if her shoe size fits her height!

I have bigger than H fitting feet and I fit kids shoes. The vivobarefoot are good, as are kickers, and Hush puppies (I've fitted the pretty non-t-bar styles for wide feet before, it can be done depending on the style) you might find going to a 1 or even 1 1/2 easier too. Is her foot wide or high or both, as that really affects what to go for.

LOL yes I blame her dad, who is 6ft5. She's already lost two teeth too. Thanks v much for recommendations, and no, her feet are relatively flat and a 'normal' shape. Clarks were useless and tried to sell me two pairs that gaped ridiculously every time she walked, and then when I pointed this out she suggested lace ups. Erm no, she's 4. Will take a look at recommendations.

then Vivo or Hushpuppies would be my go-to. T-bars a great for a high instep, but if she hasn't got that then other styles are likely to fit better

In my experiance if you dont fit what they think you're feet should be, Clarks are useless.

OP- where about are you. IF your in Devon try Chuckle shoes in Exeter or Conker shoes in Totnes. They make shoes to fit.

DD had buckle my shoe (she's a g-H) last year and she's got hush puppies this year. The buckle my shoe ones were fab for wear but the colour in the leather did bleed (alot!).

See if you can find an independent stockist locally.
