I'm not sure if they still do it, but when DD2 started school (she's now 10) M&S did uniform in age 2-3. It might be a bit big to start, but everything was adjustable.

Good luck.

What sort of uniform items are you looking for?

smallest m&s do now is age 3 which is enormous on him, i've managed to get him navy wedding trousers from next in 12/18mths which are ajustable but still a little big! the shirts however i am finding very difficult to find. Sad

My DS was the same (he had to wear uniform in a school nursery class - and was just 3 and wearing 9-12/12-18 month clothes at the time). I would forget about 'official' school uniform for now, and get him a couple of sets of clothes that fit him, in approximately the right colours. For example, blue jogging bottoms, a plain t-shirt and a plain sweat shirt. Asda, Sainsburys and M&S sell that sort of thing in their toddler ranges. Vertbaudet is also a good bet for slim fitting, plain clothes. You can probably get hold of school badges to sew on yourself. He can wear normal clarks (or similar) shoes in a reasonably conservative colour scheme.

Honestly - he will fit in better wearing clothes that more or less fit him him than wearing exactly the same as the others, but with the clothes falling off him. Also, he will struggle at changing time and going to the loo if the clothes are too big, or adjusted (I speak from experience).

Debenhams so longsleeved white shirts from age 1.

They also do these trousers.

There's a thread on this on the Pre-school bit which may be helpful.

Woolworths website did do school trousers that although were size three were tiny.

Hi my son was also tiny when he started school and we found that skool kit was the best place as they also cater for preschools there age 2 school trousers came up much smaller than any where else and they also do a smaller size in sweatshirts too.

My son is very slim (despite being a whopping 10lb when born) I am really struggling to get uniform as he'd fit in one leg of Supermarket trousers! And they all seem far too long.

I am trying Next - trousers Age 3 in slim fit (IIRC age 3 is the same as 2-3.) and polo shirts age 3.

You can order stuff to collect in store (I gave an account though).
