Daft question about labelling lunch boxes etc

PFB DS is due to start YR in a couple of weeks and has proudly chosen his spiderman lunch box and drinks bottle. I can see the chaos when there are 20 odd spiderman boxes so what do I use to label it to give him and the teachers a chance of managing lunch time? Also what do i use to label his bottle given it'll be going in the dishwasher 5 times a week? Am already dreading the huge labelling task that lies ahead.......

I use sticky name labels and stick them to lunch bags, school bags, water bottles, shoes, etc.

The ones I use just now came from easy2name (there is a mumsnet discount too)

As a tip, can you label the inside of his lunchbox too ( a Sharpie is a godsend!) so when it is open the lunchtime supervisor can see his name and address him with it, every little helps!

Sharpie. One of the 20th centuries best inventions.

Easy2name stickers and a Sharpie, for sure. Smile

Thanks all, already armed with with numerous sharpie pens for the dreaded clothes labeling, will now investigate the easy2name stickers site.

Unless your child can read, put a picture on it. A fish/car, something so he knows that it belongs to him. Smile
