HEADTEACHER CHEATS IN SATS

Does anyone have any advice / experience with this? It is clear that a headteacher changed some answers on SATs papers and helped children with answers. It has been reported to a senior member of staf but we dont know wha tsort of investigation will take place. The papers themselves are clear evidence of cheating and also the children who we predicted low marks were gaining very high marks indeed. Would any investigation take place overr summer - very concerned about this

Should be reported to LA, QCA and as a first port of call Chair of Governors.
If found to be true (which sounds likely) the tests will be declared void and children's levels will be taken as their Teacher Assessment results (not really an issue for the chn anyway as they've left and most secondaries do an initial assessment on entry).
They would look into it over the summer but not sure parents would find out at all and only if a negative outcome.
PM me if you need more specific advice (I'm a Headteacher)

Agree with HedegHogGroup this needs reporting in writing to LA, QCA and Chair of Governors, so that a proper independent investigation can take place.
If the outcome of the investigation is that the allegation is proved, then this could have serious consequences for the head teacher but that does not necessarily mean that it will become public knowledge.
Difficult to understand why head teacher would do this when it is so likely to come out, it is so difficult to hide it or stop pupils talking about being helped.
