Any experience with Bousfield Primary?

Places at Bousfield (Kensington & Chelsea) came up for my sons over the summer holiday and we're moving them from a local private school to Bousfield.

Does anyone have any experience with Bousfield? Ofsted ratings look fab - but was wondering if anyone had any views.

Also - has anyone else moved their primary school kids from private to state ? Was it a positive or negative move?

Hi Xaj - I see this is an old thread but would love to hear your impressions of Bousfield vs other private schools your kids were in before. We're considering Bousfield (if we are lucky enough to get a place) in Sept 2014 and don't know any parents who have their kids there at the moment. Thanks!

We live in chealsea... Since bousfield has an outstanding rate, January 2013 we chose that school as our first choice.. But my dd was placed in marlborough primary school which has a good grade.. My child is very happy in Marlborough.. The school is perfect.. Her reception class teacher is excellent... One of my friends' ds was placed in bousfield but they are not happy with bousfield.. They want to change it.. They applied private schools(Knightsbridge school and hill house).. Although ofsted reports are very useful , for outstanding schools most of them were prepared 3 or 4 years ago...the most important part of the school is class teacher..

Hi Xaj! I'm going to make my decision Bousfield (state) or Redcliffe (private). We just moved to the UK two months ago, so pls tell me about your experience. I need to make my choice ASAP!
