Hi have just switched to an iPhone and am struggling to find a time tables app I like for 8 and almost 7 year old. Any recommendations?

We've got one that is just called Times Tables (logo is a white background with blue numbers on) which the DCs (6 and 8) like, just gives you lots of practice, you can choose which table you are doing or a mixture (I think).

I have Maths Bingo on my ipad, it should work on an iphone as well I think.

We like Maths Bingo too

Maths Bingo is good fun ( and you can also choose addition etc) but it doesn't teach them the tables.

I've been looking for one that doesn't just test you - Multiplication Trainer looks good ( a white cloud with a blue x) I've just downloaded it so haven't tested it yet, but for example it asks you to identify which numbers go with a 3 times tables so it gives more opportunities for seeing patterns rather than the standard tests.

Actually the Multiplication Trainer one is not brilliant - it lists the tables - you then input eg the product numbers for the 4 times tables. So you could do this just be adding on in 4s rather than knowing 6x4 and then there is a random match-up game but there is no way of just smixing up eg 5, 3 and 4 times tables - it's all or nothing.

Anyone else?

I just downloaded times table machine and I like that the best so far. You can change settings and it can gave multiple users.
