Anyone know it/go there? just did a MN search and nothing - very unusual for a school in that area...

Hello I didn't want you to go unanswered, although I'm not sure I've got anything useful to tell you...
I think it might not have much mn presence because I don't think it's very un-middle class for whatever reason. More middle class congregate at either Canonbury or the religious Highbury ones, Joan of Ark and St Johns. I did read a list of outstanding schools with huge amount of FSM across the country and it (I think) Highbury Quadrant was one of them. That would suggest it's a very good school, albeit not in a very mn way...

Sorry, that should have read:
"I don't think it's very middle-class".
I can't find the data about it being on the list of schools that are doing very brilliantly with a disadvantaged intake. I think Gillispie in Highbury was another of them.

Unfortunately in an area like Islington there are great divides between very wealthy and very poor. A lot of the wealthy/middle class go private, but those that don't tend to congregate in a few schools. I love living where I do but sometimes I wish it wasn't so extreme.
