Plimsolls for wide feet

Can anyone tell me where to buy plimsolls for my son's very wide feet. Clarks and Johnsons are no good and M&S only have black available, we need white.

Thanks.

You may need to go a size bigger. My DD has impossibly wide feet and I spend my life buying every type of foot wear a whole size bigger than her actual shoe size and even then they only just fit.
A really good independent shoe shop will help you with this.

Independent shoe shop. I have DC's with very wide feet and high insteps. My local independent sells black and white, in width fittings up to H instore, and they can order wider if need be. Which I have to for DS2, who is in extra-wide Piedro's, which come out as roughly a 'J' width fitting.

DS is H width so very wide. Have always found these John Lewis velcro ones to be good. www.johnlewis.com/31053/Product.aspx

I took some back to Primark yesterday for being too wide!

Thanks everyone. I ended up in-store at M&S today and they had a couple of pairs of unusual slip on style in white. They seem to be ok on his H width feet, here is the link in case anyone else needs it in the future though there is only black available online www.marksandspencer.com/Marks-and-Spencer-Slip-On-Plimsolls/dp/B001OAENIU?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_3&nodeId=42966030&sr=1-3&qid=1343672556&pf_rd_r=13MBMB0WQX4743A8V65T&pf_rd_m=A2BO0OYVBKIQJM&pf_rd_t=301&pf_rd_i=0&pf_rd_p=215485807&pf_rd_s=center-3.

I am really struggling to find H width plimsolls in black for DS1, he tried on the M&S ones and they were creasing across the foot. Have done a quick search online and nowhere seems to sell them which seems ridiculous. I can't size up a whole size because he will just trip up over the fronts.

My DSS has flat feet, has insoles from hospital and has an 'I' fitting according to Clarks. Startrite are brilliant and the only place that do ones that fit him (he's actually at high school now so we have the same problem with mainstream sports brands Hmm)

soory to be no help at all, I have failed to find wide plimsolls ( for K/J wide feet), next year I'm sending in trainers.

I think school will understand boy has spent the last two years with his plimsolls ( 4 or 5 different pairs) falling off every time he runs or bends his foot as the velco barely meets and "popps" under stress.
