Absence/late

hello... Just had my kids report cards. I noticed they have them down for two lates and two unauthorised absences. In fact we were late once and had one unauthorised absence (the second was author). Does this matter in any way at all. Or will absence and lateness start afresh with the new school year????

Absence/lateness starts afresh with the new year. At that level it's probably not worth querying.

in fact the school stats might be right - if you were off for a whole day that would count as 2 unauthorised absences (sessions are counted). And there might well be an occasion you've forgotten about being late and/or the you thought you were on time but the DC weren't actually there in time for the register.
