Parent helpers on school trip

Dd's teacher wanted help on their end of year trip but unfortunately there is no room on the coach. I was thinking of suggesting that I drive myself and meet them there. Do you think that would be allowed (was wondering about insurance)?

We often do that, it's fine and there are no insurance issues unless you are taking someone else's child.

Have you got a CRB check? Can't help at DS2's school without one. Sad

That's good to know FallenCaryatid. I will suggest it when I go to school this afternoon.

No CRB check Sparklingbrook but dd's teacher didn't mention that when she asked for help so I assume it's not required.

That's good then katalex. Just the weather to worry about now. Smile

Yes indeed. According to the forecast it's supposed to be dry most of the day but I expect they will need wellies and raincoats just in case Smile
