Sutton primary schools admissions distances for 2012 - especially the Avenue

Hi Can I ask if anyone has seen published adminssion distances for 2012 for Sutton yet? [I realise the second round probably hasn't gone out yet]. Particularly interested in Avenue and other schools relatively nearby (devonshire, Cuddington Croft). Just anxious about my chances. I've heard avenue might be expanding again and wondered if anyone knew more about this too?

Thanks

It'll be in the booklet that they put on the council website in September for 2013 admissions.

Avenue is under consultation to accept an additional class of 30 into reception for September 2013, 2nd stage consultation is due to start in September I think. The only other schools they're trying to expand for Sept 2013 are Dorchester, Amy Johnson, & St Mary's, plus the expansion of Bandon Hill to form an annexe at the old Stanley Park High site with 120 places in reception. The consultation document (such as it is) is here.

Admissions distances for Avenue were:
2009 - 903m
2010 - 809m
2011 - 865m

Thanks very much - I am much closer than the admissions distances but not really close (prob. 500-550m or so). I am worrying that these distances could fall again as I think mostly they were bulge years - so younger siblings will be coming through? Of course, an expansion would probably help a lot.

Does anyone know is the expansion under consultation for 2013 is likely to be temporary or permanent? [the consultation document doesn't make this clear, not to me anyway].

These expansions for 2013 are for a permanent increase in PAN.

Thanks all for this.

I actually rang the school today and they confirmed they only went to 580m this year (half of places went to siblings, plus they feel that fewer people are moving out of the area than in the past) so that does feel perilously close!

They are certainly trying to expand further but the local residents association are, apparently, up in arms about the extra traffic etc.
