Another uniform question sorry!

How acceptable is it to substitute items from the given list? DS's school uniform list states 'white shirts' could I send him in a white polo shirt or is that a big no no??

It will usually say polo shirts or shirts if that's allowed. My school allow either. But if it says shirts only I wouldn't get polo shirts, sorry.

If it says shirts I would get shirts.

If it says shirts or polo shirts then I would choose a preference.

Can you have a look at what the other kids are wearing? Is it for a small boy?! Don't most primaries have polo shirts as standard?
