The whole thing was incredibly stressful and i answered one question from school governor incorrectly, prob due to stress and am kicking myself!

But the panel were really lovely and sympathetic.

I have my appeal on mon and I am so stressed to I'm afraid I might cry. If you don't mind can I ask on what basis did you appeal?

We had our appeal on Friday- found v stressful too! We find out in the morning - scared!!!!

am impressed glitter that you will know today. How did it go?

We were told on thurs we would hear within 5 working days so it could be thurs. we are on hols after that so would like to know asap!

wow- we def have the worst borough in the world. at least you will know soon.

my mouth was so dry during ours, and my hand was literally shaking when i picked up the water.

what grounds did you appeal on? I hope it works out.

Ours was an ICs appeal so very unlikely. Our son has a medical condtion- we did not realise we could submit it so submitted it with appeal- arguing that not to admit him would be perverse (to use the wording of the code)

its unlikely but fingers crossed.

ps i meant we have the worst borough in the world because both you and glitter and others i read about find out almost immediately whereas we are prob going to have to wait almost a week.

Ours was ICS as well and just about everyone advised us we would be unlikely to win, so don't lose hope - it does happen :) xx

No news I'm afraid. I'm hoping the post will come tomorrow! Even if I dont get in I'm a bit more prepared for my other appeal as I did not get any school I asked for. Thank you ladies xxx

Got my post I didn't win was expecting it as it was a c of e school and we don't follow the ethos. Doesn't matter one more to go.
