Boys school trousers - pull up / no buttons or zips

I vaguely recall seeing mention of boys school trousers that just pull up, I cant for the life of me find any reference to these online for the usual suspects (tesco, m&s etc) could anyone point me in the right direction or let me know if I was dreaming and no such thing exists (whereupon I will have to endure at least the first half of reception meeting my son at the school gate with his pants unbuttoned!!)

Smaller sizes M&S trousers are pull-up.

ChippyMinton · 15/06/2012 12:39

does your school have a specialised retailer that they use?
I have to order mine for DS, but the uniform trousers are blue cords.

Thank you! To my shame I didnt read the blurbs, had assumed they would be a specific, separate kind of trouser... so much to learn with this off to school bizniz Blush

Every pair of boys school trousers I have are pull-up. They are from Asda, Tesco and M&S.

BlueberryPancake · 15/06/2012 18:23

asda asda asda. They fit like jogging bottoms. A bit loose, but the elasticated bit is only a tthe back and there are none of these stupid buttons on the side with the elastic you can pull so they don't irritate the skin. they last forever. They are the only trousers we use here!

simpson · 15/06/2012 18:53

M&S they are fab. I think they go up to age 7

SilverSixpence · 15/06/2012 19:14

Sainsburys ones are pull up too and very hardwearing!

Tgger · 15/06/2012 19:39

Just a word of warning. THe M and S ones don't fit everyone- well prob none of them fit everyone- they don't fit my DS at all, and also he is fine in the Tesco ones with a zip and clip and they have to learn at some point Grin.

If I remember correctly BHS has pull up school trousers up to about age 6. My ds took ages to use clip trousers.

Seona1973 · 15/06/2012 21:42

ds had BHS trousers to start with and they are pull on up to age 6. He then graduated to Next trousers that have press studs and can also now work the clip ones too.
