ICS appeal query

Have I got any weight on fact school I want accepted an appeal last year, results didnt suffer and additional teacher wasnt required? I know all about ICS appeals and how hard they are, just wondering this point. Thanks x

Just to follow up on tiggytape has said, the extra pupil will have been admitted as an excepted pupil and therefore the school does not have to employ an extra teacher within the school year. However the school will need to make suitable arrangements if there are still 31 pupils in the class in september, assuming it was an infant class and will continue to be in September.

No, a successful appeal in one year does not set any precedent for appeals in the next year. Each appeal will be considered on its own facts and its own merits.
