Hi nursery have started sending home books from various reading schemes for the children to read at home, along with a record book for us to comment in. what are we supposed to write in this? Ds can't yet read and so I'm at a loss as to what to put that's meaningful or helpful. Any ideas? thank you

'he really liked working out the story from the pictures'
'ds enjoyed listening to this story'
'ds recognised some initial letters'
'ds showed empathy with the characters'

etc etc.

Cheers Smile. That is the kind of thing I've been writing, he was able (or not) to describe the pictures, if he enjoyed the book. But my god they are dull aren't they?! And I think I must have years of this to come.
