Numeracy and literacy tests - going for a teaching assistant post interview on thursday

Hi

I have an interview at my children's school for a teaching assistant position on thursday which I am really excited about! I am wondering about the literacy and numeracy tests that I am going to have to sit - not so much the literacy but more the numeracy in that while I can potentially do all primary school maths (I think Blush!) there are quite a few things which I have "forgotten" how to do and would need to see / go through the current method.

I am wondering if anybody has been through this kind of interview and can tell me what kind of numeracy and literacy questions might be asked?

Also, what kind of more general questions might be asked in the interview itself?

I would be very grateful for any pointers - information.

Many thanks.

I think we normally give TAs a Y6 sats paper to do.
