'i' may be for independent work, not sure about the others. Look around the classroom, there may be a sign up with the school's marking policy, including letters used. Or you could ask the teacher to explain.

Maybe something like: i=independent work
lov=learning objective v???

slp123 · 27/05/2012 21:58

Could the v have been a u and then maybe learning objective understood???

There are a range, LO will definitely be Learning Objective - not sure about the 'v' but as slp said, it might have been a 'u.'
TS might be Teacher Supported, and there could also be the teacher's own initials, particularly if there are different adults teaching and supporting in the class.
You could always ask the teacher! Or even your son? He ought to know, actually, if he's reading and acting upon teacher comments. How old is he?

he is 6 in yr 1, i actually think it might be LO then a small tick, def not a u to pointy. think the learning objective is probably right and then a tick so assuming he has understood it. thanks for replies.
