Ok my dd is 10 and is in year 5, she is on the sen register and they are trying to get more help for her, but they are doing practice sats and she is crying as she doesnt know what she is doing really. Now i have just seen that for almost every subject she is at 2b and 2c to me she is so far behind that how is she going to catch up?..

We help her at home with numerous things ie wrighting, reading, maths and phonics.

I am in a panic as there is only one more year and she is at seniors.

Does anyone have any tips on what we can do to help ?

Also is this bad, will she get help at senior school i dont know where to turn now.

Thanks indigobell, she has been tested for everything and i mean everything, she has fine motor skills problems and has trouble retaining information. They dont think she she has dyslexia though i am convinced that is what is some of the problem is.

I have fought so hard since she was 6 mths old to get to this point and i feel like crying for her.
