KS1 - Advanced literacy but struggling with numeracy. Should I worry?

DD in YR1 is in top literacy group in her class and finds literacy interesting and easy. However, she's really struggling with her numeracy at the mo and I feel as though her standard has declined (she was marked 9, top score in Reception). Now, I think she is slightly below nat.average. Teacher says she has confidence issues with numeracy and tries to over complicate. We live in grammar school borough so parents here are really on the ball with kids from a young age. I do little mental arithmatic exercises with her but she's not interested really. Also play 'Shop' regularly and money games but not noticing an improvment. Am I mad to think of getting a tutor to raise confidence levels?
