You can look through the rather clunky webpages of the national curriculum on the department for education website here: www.education.gov.uk/schools/teachingandlearning/curriculum/b00200366/about-the-school-curriculum

Or for a brief and clear summary of what should be covered in Year 1 in an idea world go to the Campaign for Real Education Curriculum descriptions for primary aged children here: www.cre.org.uk/primary_contents.html

Just select the subject and read Y1 (ages 5-6) pages accordingly. Please bear in mind this is something of 'ideal world' curriculum and your school may not be working to that level.
